Day 2 was a beautiful day. It was a long day traveling 63.5 miles which took 6 hours. We were by ourselves at Cape Sable, just Rowe Boat and BalaHula. We got the dingy down and took a cruise over to see Mike and Lee…it was a little choppy. Leann and I had marinated some chicken and made some kabobs, an Asian quinoa, salad and asparagus. Lots of veggies. After dinner the wind changed….Winds were suppose to come from the east, alas…they cane from the west and we were in for a bumpy night. Oh dear, I was not a very happy camper. Joe slept right through the waves hitting the boat. Not me, I think I got to sleep around 3 am. Joe and Mike got up early…I slept til around 7:45. Thank goodness it was calm. It actually calmed down about the time I fell asleep.

Day 3 we traveled for 4 hours and 18 minutes and 36.1 miles. We had WiFi so I worked on billing and answered some emails. We got the dingys down. Joe cruised around and took some pics, Mike did a little fishing. Caught a trout and 3 other small fish. No keepers. We are trying to plan our fishing’s trips while we are here at Marathon. At least 2. We had a little docktails without the dock…hummus and Janice’s delicious smoked fish dip. The boys made cocktails for themselves and Leann and I made dinner…grilled filets, baked sweet potatoes, roasted broccoflower (spelling ?) and a salad. Mike opened up a nice Pinot Noir he found when they were in New Zealand. We’ll be traveling together for the next 5 weeks or so. Leann will be leaving to go to her daughter’s baby shower. A week later we will head back to Lexington for a couple of weeks…meetings, taxes and home and garden show…

Love the blogs, BalHula
Living vicariously through the Hubers. Say hello to Mike and Leann. Will plan to meet up somewhere.
See you all when you get home for a couple of weeks.
Leah said sometime in April possibly. Come on!
